This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Quantity Surveying graduate who is looking to begin their career within the construction industry. Working alongside experienced commercial and project teams, you will gain hands-on experience across all aspects of quantity surveying and commercial management. You will support projects from initial procurement through to completion and final account, developing the practical knowledge and commercial awareness required to progress into a successful Quantity Surveyor.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, your responsibilities will include:Assisting with the commercial management of construction projects from pre-construction through to completion.Supporting the preparation of project budgets, cost plans and forecasts.Assisting with subcontractor and supplier enquiries, tender analysis and procurement.Preparing and issuing subcontract documentation and purchase orders.Measuring and valuing works completed on site.Assisting with interim valuations and applications for payment.Reviewing subcontractor applications and supporting the preparation of payment notices.Identifying, recording and valuing variations and changes to the works.Monitoring project costs against budgets and reporting potential commercial risks.Assisting with ..... full job details .....
