Blackstone Recruitment is working with a SEMHD School based in Stoke-on-Trent, who are looking for an English Teacher to join them from the Summer Term. This is a temporary to permanent position, starting after Easter. Job Summary Working with a School that specializes in catering to the unique needs of young people facing SEMHD challenges. Working within KS3 and KS4 Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards. Teach both English Literature and Language, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening, to students of varying abilities. Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support their development. Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning. Collaborate with colleagues to share resources and best practices for teaching English. Organise extracurricular activities related to English language and literature to enhance student engagement. Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
