Facilities Maintenance Manager
A leading chemical and materials manufacturing company in Manchester is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager. Ensure the reliability and compliance of key utilities - steam, water, gas, electricity, compressed air and critical facilities systems including HVAC, fire, security, and electrical distribution. Drive energy efficiency initiatives, cost-saving projects, continuous improvement, and support CAPEX planning.Key Responsibilities:Manage and develop the facilities team, including engineers and apprentices, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to maintain critical systems.Maintain and oversee industrial boilers, water treatment and distribution networks, HVAC, fire, security, and electrical systems.Ensure utilities are available to production and office areas at all times, reviewing and updating procedures as needed.Implement energy efficiency initiatives, cost-saving measures, and preventative maintenance programs.Plan and oversee facilities-related capital projects, coordinating with suppliers and contractors to deliver on ..... full job details .....
