Interim Head of Income, Productivity and Contracts, NHS, mainly remote Your new company This NHS client is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to drive the development and delivery of the Trust''s financial recovery plan and productivity improvement programmes, ensuring a sustainable financial future. Your new role You will lead the Programme Support Office, providing the structure, process, and critical challenge necessary to deliver complex and ambitious annual efficiency targets. A key aspect of the role involves championing an analytical approach to productivity, particularly through service-level reporting. You will also lead the tactical management of the Trust''s clinical contracts and income streams with ICBs, NHS England, and other Trusts, including co-leading annual contract negotiations. You will ensure timely, accurate income reporting to support informed decision-making across services. This role requires extensive collaboration with senior managers, clinical and associate directors, both internally and externally, to ensure service changes are financially and contractually sound. Additionally, you will oversee the resolution of contract disputes and assess the impact of emerging strategic issues, working closely with the Head of Financial Strategy and Business Development to ensure income assumptions are robust across all business cases.
