This pivotal role will require exceptional technical expertise and robust exposure to financial and management accounting. Your new role will see you support the leadership team with financial insights, supporting and leading continuous improvement initiatives. This is a varied and hands-on role that combines technical accounting with strategic input. Working for a well-established organisation, you will support the accounting process, with particular attention to month-end, strengthening the consolidation of data and supporting the monthly reporting schedule.Your duties will include the following:Preparing, posting, uploading journals Performing key month-end duties across the ledger functionsGeneral ledger managementProduction of statutory accounts for UK entitiesAssist with the preparation of the consolidated accounts Review EU and UK VAT returns prior to submissionPrepayments and accrualsProviding support for internal and external audit processesKey to this role is the ability to support the senior management team and the wider business by responding and adapting to change in a positive manner; you must be able to think on your feet, adapting to an ever-changing landscape. ..... full job details .....
