- Provide dedicated 1:1 support as a SEN Teaching Assistant
- Support small groups of pupils as a SEN Teaching Assistant
- Work with children with autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication needs as a SEN Teaching Assistant
- Collaborate with teachers and SENCO as a SEN Teaching Assistant
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional development as a SEN Teaching Assistant
Requirements for a SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Experience working with SEN pupils or in a SEN Teaching Assistant role
- A caring, patient and adaptable approach
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Understanding of behaviour support strategies
- Commitment to supporting pupil wellbeing and progress
