Vibe Care Agency are looking for experienced support workers with experience working in supported living settings. You would need to have a caring and compassionate nature and enjoy working with adults with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs and epilepsy.We have various locations in and around OxfordshireThis is a flexible role, to fit around any other commitments you may have. This role is not suitable for anyone seeking sponsorship What we are looking for:Previous experience working with adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needsMinimum 12 months experience working for a social care agency or 6 months in a permanent support roleExcellent communication skillsExperience supporting individuals that may display behaviours that challengeAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamDedicated, flexible, honest and reliableMain responsibilities:Provide support and assistance to individuals with a range of learning disabilities, complex needs and autism.Providing companionship and emotional supportSupport with daily tasks which may include supporting with personal care, meal preparation and activities.Promote independence and encourage individuals to do as much for themselves as possible.Accompanying individuals to medical appointments and community/social outingsReport any changes in individual''s behaviours or health conditionsMaintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of individuals interactions and progressWhy should you join Vibe ..... full job details .....
