Welder (Contract) Farnborough £23.27 per hour Our client, based in Farnborough, is seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in fabrication and aluminium welding. Welder Roles and Responsibilities: Perform MIG and TIG welding to a high standard Primarily work with thin-gauge aluminium materials Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and specifications Use a range of tools, including grinders and manual/electric equipment Ensure all work meets required production targets and deadlines Maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and safety Welder Ideal Candidate: Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding Minimum of 4 years fabrication experience, including working with multi-level BoMs Strong practical skills with hand and power tools Experience using inspection and measuring equipment Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and welding symbols Extensive experience in fabrication, including complex builds and designs At least 4 years experience working with thin-gauge aluminium (1.5 6mm) Previous coding/qualification in aluminium welding (1.5 6mm) (Desirable) BPSS Security Clearance (or willingness to obtain) Welder Working Hours: Monday Thursday, 08 45 Friday, 08 00 Jackie Kerr Recruitment is an independent agency that has been established for 28 years.
