An excellent opportunity for a newly qualified or finalist Management Accountant to join a highly profitable and well-established business.Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will take ownership of the month-end and management accounting process for a key business unit, while gaining broader exposure to budgeting, forecasting, controls, and commercial finance.This is a hands-on role offering plenty of scope to develop both technically and commercially within a structured group environment.Key responsibilitiesOwn the month-end close and preparation of management accountsPrepare accruals, prepayments, depreciation and month-end journalsComplete balance sheet, intercompany and key ledger reconciliationsAnalyse revenue, cost of sales and financial performanceSupport annual budgets and quarterly forecastingAssist with cash flow forecastingCompliance, internal controls and audit requirementsAssist with VAT, year-end reporting and external auditProvide clear financial commentary and work closely with non-finance stakeholdersIdentify opportunities to improve and automate finance processesThe successful candidateYou will ideally be newly qualified or approaching qualification (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) with strong hands-on management accounting experience.You will also have:Strong month-end accounting experienceExcellent Excel skillsStrong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate reportingGood communication and stakeholder management skillsA proactive, organised approach with the ..... full job details .....
