PPA TEACHER ** HACKNEY ** Long-term/ Temporary ** -160 - -190 per day

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a well-regarded, supportive primary school in Hackney, London, to recruit an engaging and flexible PPA Cover Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner or a newly qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) to join a school where teamwork, professional development and pupil progress are at the heart of everything they do.

Role Overview

As a PPA Cover Teacher, you will:

• Deliver high-quality lessons across the primary age range (KS1 and KS2) to cover teachers during their Planning, Preparation and Assessment time.

• Adapt quickly to different classes, year groups and curriculum areas.

• Ensure continuity of learning by following the class teacher''s planning and providing effective feedback.

• Foster a positive classroom environment where every child feels supported and challenged.

• Uphold the school''s behaviour policy and safeguarding procedures at all times.

• Work closely with year group teams to contribute to the wider life of the school when needed.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Experience working within a primary school setting is desirable, but ECTs are welcome to apply.

• Ability to build rapport quickly with pupils and staff.

• Strong organisational skills and the confidence to teach in a variety of year groups.

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
