HGV Class 1 UK and EU Driving Our well known client is looking for a Class 1 Driver / Driver Operative for their Motorsports division, you''ll support/deliver on event logistic In Formula 1, requirements to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently. In this role you will be based in Dunstable and will be required to drive in the UK and Europe. Salary £40,000-£43,000 plus per diem (approx £50 per day)HOURS: 228 annualised days contract Job Purpose:Main tasks at European F1 events: Loading and unloading of trucks.Drive to and from European race Circuits.Away for up to 3 weeks per event, Between May and SeptemberManual handling of equipment.Complete time sensitive deliveries.Work as part of a small team on various contracts, as required.Daily vehicle checks.Maintain admin and paperwork. For both vehicle and deliveriesFace to face relationship with customers while on site at events. Main tasks (Sept to April) : To work as part of the transport team.Experienced people with the capability to manage the day-to-day tasks required to fulfil these roles.Ability to adapt and embrace change while keeping calm in a pressured time driven environment.To be flexible with working times and days and be part of a shift operation.Needs to be able to communicate effectively to customers,To be able to produce a checkable 5-year work historyTo work closely with the Transport plannersHold a clean current HGV / LGV Class C / C+E licence.Hazardous trained licence would be advantageous.Basic IT ..... full job details .....
