We''re recruiting for a Machine Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business supplying packaging solutions into the healthcare sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Machine Operator from a manufacturing, production, or packaging environment who is looking to develop their skills and train as a Lamination Operator. What you''ll be doing:
Operating production machinery safely and efficiently to meet production and quality targets
Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments where required
Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet customer specifications
Loading, handling and preparing materials in line with production requirements
Accurately completing production reports and relevant documentation
Identifying and reporting machine faults or maintenance concerns
Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, waste management and health & safety
Supporting wider production activities and continuous improvement initiatives
Working closely with Team Leaders and production colleagues
Undertaking full training to develop into a Lamination Operator role
What we''re looking for:
Previous machine operating experience within a manufacturing, production, or packaging environment
A positive attitude and willingness to learn specialist lamination processes
Good understanding of production, quality, and health & safety standards
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Reliable, proactive approach with strong teamwork skills
Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts (06:00-18:00 / 18:00-06:00)
Own transport due to site location
