OverviewWe are recruiting a Band 7 CEN Clinical Lead to cover the Wolverhampton locality for a new, psychology-led virtual multidisciplinary pathway within Community Transformation. The pathway improves experiences and outcomes for service users who frequently present with complex trauma histories and a diagnosis of Personality Disorder. It operates in close collaboration with CMHTs and links with DBT Teams, the Community Enablement and Recovery Team, Assertive Outreach Practitioners and the Recovery College. This is a senior clinical role with service development and leadership responsibilities while maintaining a strong clinical focus.

Responsibilities

Target and identify highly complex and high-risk service users.

Develop high-quality, detailed, formulation-driven risk management and care plans.

Engage with service users and lead/support Band 6 CEN Practitioners and Recovery Workers.

Collaborate closely with CMHT colleagues to ensure positive risk management strategies and care plans are implemented with support from Key Workers.

Maintain a high intensity and frequency of contacts with service users while managing caseloads to enable focused, creative work.

Participate in regular supervision, provide and receive reflective practice and training opportunities.

Engage in relevant training approaches (e.g., Structured Clinical Management, CBT or DBT) as appropriate.

Contribute to the development of operational, clinical and strategic direction of the CEN Pathway as a member of the Pathway leadership team.

Potentially contribute to out-of-hours work in the future, with agreement; currently Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm.

Qualifications

Registered mental health professional (e.g., Community Psychiatric Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker).

Experience with complex emotional needs, high-risk cases and formulation-driven care planning.

Ability to lead clinical teams, engage in supervision and support reflective practice.
