Application Support - LAMP - Trading Excellent opportunity opens for an Application Support Engineer to join a growing Financial Services firm in a crucial role. This role offers the possibility to take ownership of 2nd andamp; 3rd line support issues, advanced application support tickets andamp; working on critical production incidents. This role offers significant technical skill development andamp; the ideal candidate will be tech passionate and keen to learn. Main Responsibilities: Investigate and resolve complex level 2/3 production issues for internal systems and clients Triage and prioritise support tickets, collaborating with team members based on complexity Use monitoring systems to identify, analyse, and prevent recurring issues with minimal development team involvement Update system configurations across environments and automate processes where possible Handle production incidents, lead incident reviews, and implement permanent solutions About you: Degree in Computer Science or equivalent in related field Proficiency in Linux and SQL for daily production issue resolution Perl programming knowledge and LAMP stack experience (Apache, MySQL, PHP) Proficiency in ticketing systems and collaborative knowledge management platforms Experience with monitoring and alerting platforms (Ideally: Grafana, OpsGenie, or similar) Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems in fast-paced environments Capability to quickly understand and navigate large, complex ..... full job details .....
