Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support high-voltage substation and transmission and distribution (TandD) projects on a contract basis. The role will involve managing EPC delivery, coordinating project stakeholders and ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and in line with NEC contract requirements.Key Responsibilities:Managing the delivery of high-voltage substation and TandD projects from inception through to completionLeading EPC project delivery, coordinating engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activitiesAdministering NEC contracts, including change control, risk management, programme updates and commercial reportingManaging project programmes, budgets, resources and delivery milestonesCoordinating contractors, suppliers, engineering teams and other project stakeholdersEnsuring compliance with National Grid standards, health and safety requirements and relevant industry regulationsMonitoring project performance and implementing corrective actions where requiredProviding clear progress reports and maintaining effective communication throughout the project lifecycleJob Requirements:Strong experience as a Project Manager within the transmission, distribution or wider energy sectorExperience delivering high-voltage substation projectsStrong knowledge of NEC contracts and contract management principlesPrevious experience working on National Grid projects or within National Grid standards and processesDemonstrable EPC ..... full job details .....
