£60,000 £80,000/annum Flexible Salary + 33 Day Holiday The successful candidate will need to be based within 40 minutes of Stoke on Trent, unfortunately we are unable to consider candidates looking to relocate or looking for a hybrid or remote working role as it is HQ based when travelling throughout North America. We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer with experience of setting up Distributors throughout the USA and Canada to manage existing accounts and set up/develop new Distributors. Ideally you will have sold products into Mining or a similar heavy industry, used to being on sites in your Wellingtons and hard hat comfortable dealing at all levels. The role will involve c.60% of your time being overseas and being office based in the Stoke on Trent area when not traveling, you will probably be away for 2 to 3 weeks at a time to cover the area more effectively and to make the longer travel worthwhile. You will need to come from a technical background, have a proven overseas Sales track record, dealing within a heavy engineering industry ideally Mining, Coal/Thermal Power, Hydro Power, or Agricultural etc, comfortable dealing at all levels on site in a very hands-on environment.
