The role is a permanent senior appointment with influence across every part of the business and by nature is extremely hands on rather than supervisory, but does have a strong finance team including an experienced number 2 and requires you to hold a recognised accounting qualification. Alongside finance control and governance their is a clear commercial mandate to translate financial performance identifying operational drivers and advising on decisions that need to be made to achieve maximum performance.
