Finance Business Partner - Transport and Infrastructure - (experience in this service area not essential)Salary: 47,000 - 52,500 + market supplementLocation: East Midlands (Hybrid Working)An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified finance professional to join a growing public sector organisation delivering major transport, infrastructure and economic development programmes across the region.Working closely with senior leaders and budget holders, you will provide high-quality financial support, challenge and insight to help shape strategic decision-making and ensure effective use of public funds.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a trusted finance partner to senior stakeholders across transport and infrastructure portfolios.Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and medium-term financial planning processes.Deliver robust financial reporting, analysis and performance monitoring.Support the development of business cases, investment proposals and funding submissions.Provide financial modelling and appraisal for capital projects and programmes.Identify financial risks and opportunities, recommending appropriate actions.Promote strong governance, financial control and value-for-money principles.Drive continuous improvement across financial processes and reporting.About YouCCAB/CIMA qualified accountant (or equivalent).Proven Finance Business Partnering experience within a complex organisation.Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial planning expertise.Experience supporting capital ..... full job details .....
