Are you a compassionate and patient individual with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)? We’re actively recruiting Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work across a range of SEN schools in Sheffield, supporting pupils with Autism, SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs), and complex learning difficulties.

About the Learning Support Assistant Role

• Full-time, long-term roles available in inclusive and well-supported SEN school environments

• Provide 1:1 support or work in small groups with students who may be non-verbal, have emotional/behavioural challenges, or need help engaging in lessons

• Assist students aged 5–18 years in small class settings that promote calm and tailored learning

• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists to deliver individualised education and care plans

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome applications from individuals who are:

• Experienced in working with children or young people with SEN, either in education, care, youth work, or support roles

• Calm, patient, empathetic, and genuinely motivated to support children with additional needs

• Adaptable and flexible to meet the varied needs of students and school environments

• In possession of a valid Child & Adult Enhanced DBS, or willing to apply (we can assist)

Pay and Benefits

• Competitive daily rates: £93.83 – £105.00, based on experience and level of responsibility
