Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging one-to-one GCSE tuition tailored to students with SEN.

• Support students in core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science, or your subject specialism.

• Adapt teaching strategies to suit individual learning needs, abilities, and education plans.

• Build positive, supportive relationships with students who may have had challenging experiences in education.

• Monitor and report on student progress.

• Work collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals where required.

• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.

Desirable Experience

• Supporting students with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, or other additional learning needs.

• Experience working within alternative provision, SEN settings, or mentoring roles.

• Knowledge of EHCPs and personalised learning plans.

• Understanding of safeguarding and inclusive education practices.
