Year 6 Maternity Cover Teacher – September Start
Location: Birmingham 

PK Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Year 6 Teacher to undertake a full-time maternity cover role starting in September at a welcoming and supportive primary school in Birmingham.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident Key Stage 2 practitioner who is passionate about supporting pupils through their final year of primary school and preparing them for SATs.

The Role:

• Full-time Year 6 maternity cover
• Planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Preparing pupils for SATs and supporting academic progress
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Working collaboratively with school staff and support teams

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
• Have strong knowledge of SATs preparation and assessment frameworks
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills
• Be adaptable, reliable, and committed to high standards of teaching and learning
