Band 6 Occupational Therapist Location: Central London The London Clinic Salary: £28ph (Umbrella Rates) Hours: 35 hours per week or minimum 3 days per week available (Temporary) Department: Therapies Band: 6 We are looking for an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Therapies team at The London Clinic. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse inpatient caseload, supporting patients within orthopaedics, general surgery, intensive care, oncology, and haemato-oncology. You will manage your own clinical caseload, respond to urgent referrals, and work closely with Physiotherapists and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care. Key Responsibilities Manage and prioritise a varied inpatient clinical caseload. Complete Occupational Therapy assessments and treatment planning. Support complex discharge planning. Respond effectively to urgent referrals and changing clinical priorities. Assess and provide appropriate equipment, aids and appliances. Work collaboratively with Physiotherapy and the wider MDT. Attend clinical reviews and case conferences as required. Maintain accurate clinical records, goals and outcome measures. Work in accordance with RCOT and professional clinical guidelines. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Essential Requirements BSc in Occupational Therapy or equivalent. HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
