You will innovate, evolve and deploy optimal tape-out quality implementations.Responsibilities:
Physical implementation of Arm Solutions using the entire physical implementation flow from RTL to GDSII. Including Synthesis, Floorplanning, Place and Route, STA, Power Analysis and Physical Verification.Objective would be to optimize performance power and area as the need arises and build the outstanding implementation of our designsWork collaboratively with design teams influencing system micro architecture to achieve the highest standardsEnable our chip design partners to support their physical implementation successRequired skills and experience:
Large SoC systems integrationPower and physical architectureDesign for testGood understanding of the concepts related to Synthesis, Place and Route, Clock tree synthesis, constraint development, timing closure and knowledge of hardware languages: Verilog/System verilogWriting and validating UPFWorking experience with tools like Genus and Innovus, Conformal low power, Primetime/Tempus and other relevant tools required for physical implementationAlgorithmic thinking, with some programming experience in Tcl, Make and Linux shellThe ability to analyse problems, reason logically about solutions and chart the appropriate course to takeA curiosity about embracing new silicon implementation techniques and methodologiesTeam work with good communication able to present ideas, results and conclusions in a proficient and organised way''Nice to have'' skills and experience:
Knowledge of systems architecture, Arm IP and Arm-based SoCsAn interest in AI hardware technologyPast experience with programming languages for data processing and presentationExperience with low power design techniques - clock and power gating, voltage/frequency scaling, retentionUnderstanding of power delivery and experience of static and dynamic IR-drop analysisA STEM degree in a relevant field, such as electronics engineering or computer scienceIn return:
