Blossoms on the Reservoir are looking for a Nursery Manager to join their brand new nursery opening in 2025 in Edgbaston Blossoms on the Reservoir is the newest addition to a small, independent chain of nurseries based in the West Midlands. The Blossoms Group offer high quality full day care for children aged 0 to 5 years. Open 7.00am-6.00pm 51 weeks of the year. The nursery will be heavily supported by the curiosity approach to learning, with an emphasis on the natural world and what we can learn from the world around us. The role is full time for 40 hours a week, across 5 days, with the occasional over time. Duties will include: Fully understanding the Policies and Procedures and following them when running the nursery Managing and overseeing the daily running of the nursery Forming professional and friendly partnerships with parents and the staff team Completing staff supervisions and ensuring communication with the staff team is kept to a high standard Leading staff meetings on a monthly basis Staff delegation and deployment to ensure all rooms are working within the adult to child ratios Conducting peer observations and management spot checks. Focusing on the quality of interaction and the high levels of practice. Mentoring and training the staff team whilst encouraging and upskilling practice.
