This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong manufacturing background who enjoys taking ownership of projects from concept through to completion.The successful candidate will work closely with customers to develop practical engineering solutions, produce detailed manufacturing drawings, and support projects throughout the full design lifecycle.The RoleWorking directly with customers to develop engineering solutionsSupporting the quoting and tendering processProducing conceptual designs for bespoke machinery/equipmentCreating detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings to BS8888 standardsProducing accurate bills of materials (BOMs)Ensuring designs comply with industry regulations and standardsProviding regular project updates and obtaining customer approvalsSupporting projects from initial concept through to manufactureRequirementsApprenticeship / Time Served engineering backgroundMinimum 5 years'' experience within a manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of Milling and Turning processesExperience using 2D and 3D CAD packages such as:SolidWorksAutoCADInventorSolid EdgeExperience producing detailed manufacturing drawingsBOM creation experiencePrevious ERP/MRP system experience would be advantageousStrong communication skills and ability to ..... full job details .....
