You will be required to provide day-to-day cover for short or longer-term placements, supporting individuals with their personal care, daily living and independence. What You’ll Be DoingYour day-to-day responsibilities as a Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker may include:
- Supporting individuals with personal care and daily living
- Promoting independence and supporting individuals to achieve their goals
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with medication where appropriately trained
- Supporting individuals with appointments and activities
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Working alongside other healthcare professionals and support teams
- Ensuring a safe, respectful and supportive environment at all times
- You must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK.
- Previous experience working within a care, healthcare or support setting is desirable.
- A caring, reliable and compassionate approach.
- A good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively.
- The ability to work flexibly across a range of shifts.
- A clear enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration.
