Working on the grounds of a stunning private school you will be supporting the headmaster, his wife and busy family. This is a part time role for 3 days each week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday), working 3 hours each day (i.e. 9 hours per week). Start and finish times are flexible but must be between 08:30 and 15:00. Your role:Dusting and polishing furniture and fixturesCleaning and sanitising toilets, showers/bathtubs, counter tops, and sinksMaintaining a clean and sanitary utility roomMaintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen areaMaking beds and changing linenVacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugsSweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floorsSorting, washing, loading, and unloading laundryPeriodical cleaning of appliances, including oven, refrigerator, etcIroning clothing and bed linenUsing any cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning toolsKeeping bathrooms lime scale free dailyCleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces dailyEmptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste dailyArranging for steaming and cleaning draperies if requiredWashing blindsTidying up rooms after the familyMonitoring cleaning supplies and reporting to Housekeeping Supervisor for more as neededReporting any necessary repairs or replacements to Domestic Operations ManagerThe person:Experience of cleaning in private homesAble to meet the physical demands of the roleArticulate and professionalStrong communication skillsAble to accept instructionAble to work ..... full job details .....
