As a Senior Reinsurance Broker, every day provides opportunities to collaborate, advise, and deliver results for our clients across EMEA. You will be part of an encouraging and knowledgeable team, working together to deliver the best solutions in financial lines facultative reinsurance.Responsibilities
Partner with colleagues and clients to grow a diverse portfolio of financial lines facultative reinsurance businessAdvise on placement design, available coverage, capacity, pricing, coverage improvements, and market progressSupport the development and delivery of compelling market presentations and broking strategiesNegotiate terms and conditions of placement, and provide support where necessaryCollaborate closely with client teams in the Aon Re network to ensure needs and expectations are metIdentify the best channels for risk placement, bringing to bear market influence to secure efficient deals for clientsResolve queries from clients and reinsurers, working with colleagues across departments and offices as neededUphold compliance with Aon UK Limited’s Risk Management Framework and policies, including risk management and mandatory trainingSkills And Experience That Will Lead To Success
Proven technical competence in financial lines products (5-10 years experience)Strong background in broking and/or facultative reinsurance, with the ability to trade independentlyWell-developed industry knowledge and strong relationship with London and international markets, sales, and marketing abilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong data analysis skills, with proficiency in English (a second European language is strongly desirable)How We Support Our Colleagues
