Supplier Quality Engineer Up to £50,000, plus a car allowance Droitwich Our client is a leading global manufacturer of innovative fluid-flow and mechanical systems and is looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join their growing team! This position will strengthen the company''s supply chain by auditing, qualifying and developing suppliers while ensuring components meet the required quality, technical and regulatory standards. Supplier Quality Engineer Roles and Responsibilities Lead initial, process and surveillance audits of new and existing suppliers Assess suppliers against ISO 9001, ISO 3834 and Pressure Equipment Directive requirements Qualify and onboard suppliers through screening and capability assessments Monitor supplier approvals, certifications and ongoing performance Drive improvements in supplier quality, delivery and process capability Lead root-cause investigations, corrective actions and 8D activities Support underperforming suppliers with structured performance recovery plans Work closely with Procurement, Engineering, Production and Quality teams Maintain supplier scorecards, performance measures and risk profiles Review welding procedures, inspection reports and material certificates Review supplier quality plans and technical documentation Support PPAP, FAIR and validation of new or modified components Promote lean manufacturing, process control and defect-reduction initiatives Support cost reduction, risk mitigation and new-product ..... full job details .....
