The core functions of this role are; scoping, designing, validating and delivering control systems for bespoke automation solutions, and will also include support for systems already in the field.This includes:Development and preparation of functional descriptions and commissioning/test plansControl system design and PLC programming - including HMI - for standard and bespoke productsEnsuring design and delivery complies with UK and Client standards and specificationsProviding input into the standardisation and development of the Automation and Controls teamDeveloping and delivering controls and automation training packagesActively participating in client safety hazard analysisProviding after sales technical customer support, troubleshooting and remediationWorking with mechanical and electrical teams to ensure strong cross functional integration across all three elementsSENIOR: Mentoring and guiding junior Controls Engineers within the teamSENIOR: Documenting and training the team for standards compliance and best practicesSENIOR: Accountability for the delivery (time and quality) of the teamSENIOR: Supporting recruitmentProactive Global is committed to equality in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer.Proactive Global is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy. ..... full job details .....
