Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a successful and inclusive Secondary School in Derby to recruit a Teacher of PE to cover a maternity leave starting in September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic PE teacher to join a supportive and well-resourced department. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, promoting active lifestyles, teamwork, and sporting excellence.

• PGCE in Secondary Education (PE or relevant subject)

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Child Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one

• A passion for PE and a commitment to student progress and wellbeing

• A supportive and welcoming school community

• Well-equipped sports facilities and access to extracurricular opportunities

• Paid to scale in line with experience and responsibilities

• Potential for a longer-term or permanent role
