Your new companyYou will join a disciplined engineering team responsible for supporting the safe and efficient operation of a major power facility. The site delivers continuous plant performance and requires skilled electrical professionals who can maintain equipment, solve problems and support ongoing reliability and availability targets.Your new roleYou will carry out plant maintenance, fault diagnosis and routine work on electrical systems and auxiliary equipment. You will work to site procedures, maintenance strategies and safety rules. You will support project activity, supervise contractors and use the computerised maintenance management system to plan and record work. The role is day-based with participation in an out-of-hours call out rota for essential maintenance.Key duties include: Performing fault diagnosis and routine maintenance on complex plant and equipment.Meeting maintenance targets safely and commercially.Planning work through the CMMS.Managing and supervising contractors.Delivering maintenance procedures in line with quality, health, safety and environmental requirements.Providing technical support and practical solutions to operational issues.Supporting safe systems of work and contributing to the safe operation of the power plant.
