As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering engineering scope across complex equipment such as gloveboxes, pumps, filters, sampling cabinets, lifts, cranes, and hoists-ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient solutions for this critical facility. The RoleYou will manage the delivery of mechanical engineering and technical activities, from producing specifications and datasheets through to risk assessments, design reviews, and technical reports. Acting as a subject matter expert, you''ll apply engineering standards, codes, and regulations while supporting project safety assessments and mentoring less experienced engineers. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and review of specifications, datasheets, calculations, and technical deliverables for mechanical equipment.Carry out and review Designer Risk Assessments (DRAs) across PUWER, PED, and work environments.Ensure adherence to safety cases, regulations, codes, and standards throughout the design lifecycle.Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and support to junior team members.Interface ..... full job details .....
