CMA is recruiting for a Management Accountant position for a not for profit organisation in Salisbury. They have an exciting opportunity for a new person to join their dynamic finance team on a fixed term contract basis for 12 months, this requirement is for an immediate starter. You will be an existing Management Accountant who has a detailed knowledge of processes and systems and how to make effective change to processes and accounting controls. What will the Management Accountant role involve? Assessing the wider finance function activities, map and document processes and set new accounting controls;Meaningful insight and recommendations based on analysis of key financial information to support business decision making;Detailed analysis of the organisations procurement processes and recommending upgraded processes;Stakeholder management and presenting at senior management meetings;Working closely with and supporting the Senior Management Accountant and Finance Director. Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant vacancy: A qualified Accountant is the ideal, although part qualified can also be considered;Confident skillset in systems and process change and development;Strong system skills including Excel to an advanced level is highly beneficial;Not for profit sector background is advantageous although not essential.
