Financial Accountant / Property Finance Manager Location: Slough, Berkshire Rate: 409.09 per day Umbrella Contract: Temporary / Contract We are recruiting for an experienced Financial Accountant / Property Finance Manager to provide strategic financial management and business partnering support within a local authority Property Services function. This is a key role supporting the effective management of revenue and capital budgets, financial forecasting, property investment and savings programmes. Key Responsibilities Lead the preparation and monitoring of property revenue and capital budgets. Review and challenge expenditure, identifying overspends, financial pressures and savings opportunities. Develop accurate monthly and quarterly financial forecasts. Support Medium-Term Financial Strategy (MTFS) planning, including property disposals and changes in income. Analyse property expenditure, income, capital projects and savings programmes. Provide financial advice and challenge to budget holders and senior stakeholders. Produce accurate and timely financial reports for senior management and elected members. Act as the key finance business partner for Property Services. Ensure compliance with local government financial regulations, accounting standards and Council policies. Support effective financial management and value for money across the property estate.
