School Kitchen Manager NEEDED!

Berkeley Scott, the countryandrsquo;s leading hospitality agency is looking for a Kitchen Manager to work with one of our prestigious clients in North London. An innovative and creative setting, you will be leading the catering team, supporting them in feeding young minds of the future!

You will have experience leading large teams, catering for up to 700 people in a fast-paced environment. Collaborating with other members of leadership team, to consistently deliver exceptional menus while adhering to Food Safety regulations.

This contract is Monday to Friday, 7am-3pm.

This opportunity will begin Temp to Perm and will involve a trial period.

Responsible for:

• The operational efficiency of the catering team (managing a team of 5)
• Planning and preparing food to a required standard
• Food ordering and ensuring suitable stock levels
• Ensure prompt service of all meals as required by the school
• All communication, reporting and health and safety

To work for us you will need:

• Knowledge and understanding of DFE guidelines
• Enhanced DBS Certificate (Child workforce)
• RTW in UK
• 2x Employment References
• 1 yearsandrsquo; minimum work experience in similar environment as a Chef or Kitchen Manager
• Food and Safety Certificates (including Level 3 Food Safety Certificate)
• Excellent IT, and communication skills (whether written or verbal)
• Excellent time keeping skills
