About the Role We''re recruiting on behalf of a specialist children''s residential home supporting young people with complex emotional, behavioural and additional needs. You''ll be joining a dedicated team committed to helping young people build confidence, develop life skills and achieve positive outcomes. The home supports young people with a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). We''re looking for resilient, confident individuals who can remain calm under pressure and build trusting relationships with young people who may display challenging behaviours. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality day-to-day care and support to children and young people. Build positive, professional and trusting relationships. Support young people with daily routines, education and individual care needs. Plan and participate in engaging activities, hobbies and outings. Promote emotional wellbeing, independence and personal development. Respond calmly and confidently to challenging behaviours using positive behaviour support techniques. Support young people with autism and other additional needs. Follow Individual Care Plans, Behaviour Support Plans and Risk Assessments.
