The perfect candidate will be responsible for the overall management, development, and delivery of a new residential care service for children and young people with learning disabilities, autism, and/or mental health needs. The role includes ensuring the service operates in full compliance with Ofsted regulations and delivers high standards of person-centred, trauma-informed care that promote safety, wellbeing, and positive outcomes. Children s Home Registered Manager Key Responsibilities Ensure that all statutory and regulatory requirements are met, including Ofsted standards and safeguarding legislation. Work with senior management to ensure the home meets and exceeds internal KPIs and regulatory expectations. Lead the implementation of care models that support children with complex needs, ensuring all practices are person-centred and outcomes focused. Conduct regular audits, reviews, and inspections to maintain quality and compliance. Recruit, induct, and manage a team of residential support staff, always ensuring appropriate staffing levels and develop staff performance along with extra training and mentoring.
