The RoleThis is a hands on supervisory role where you will lead a team of MIG welders while also supporting production through your own welding when required.Oversee a team of 5 to 10 MIG welders on the production floorEnsure all welding work follows drawings, specifications and welding proceduresCheck welds for defects, correct joint preparation and proper penetrationPerform visual inspections to ensure compliance with quality standardsStep in to weld when required to maintain smooth production and meet deadlines About YouProven supervisory experience in manufacturing with welding experienceProven experience as a MIG Welder in a fabrication or manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and welding specificationsConfident working with mild steel of various thicknessesKnowledge of welding standards, tolerances and inspection methodsStrong communication and team leadership skills Licence and CertificationsValid UK Driving Licence desirable due to ..... full job details .....
