Job Description: Flexographic Printer (level 3)Location: CorbyHours 12 hour rotating days / nights on a 4 on / 4 off rotationSalary: £35,000 - £40,000 DOEI am looking for an experienced Flexographic Printer to join my client in Corby.This role is pivotal to the business and you would be working in factory environment supporting the Print Manager in all aspects of the Print Departments day-to-day running including managing personnel and working with the Production Managers and Directors to improve efficiencies, reducing costs, improving product quality, and Health and Safety. 3. Main Responsibilities Set and operate the print machinery and achieve output targets ensuring production is per the works order requirements.Understand technical requirements specific to print quality and artwork guidance, with particular attention to eye marks and guidelines.Understand and alter colours as required with the support of the Ink technicians ensuring high quality complex visuals.Load substrates and inks, adjusting the press setting for tension, speed, colour registration etc.Inspect printed output for colour accuracy, print clarity and overall quality, adjusting as necessary. Ensure quality control is maintained and carry out technical inspections and tests to check for defects and use experience and technical knowledge of the processes to problem solve throughout the shift.Verify, control and adjust machine settings as required within the guidelines and tolerances of the works order ..... full job details .....
