SEND Teaching Assistant - RochdaleHours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only Pay: £92.56 to £120 per day (dependent on experience) Aspire People is working with a specialist SEN school in Rochdale to recruit a committed and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant. This is a full-time opportunity to support children and young people with a range of additional needs, including autism, communication difficulties, sensory processing needs and complex learning needs. The school provides a structured and nurturing environment where pupils receive tailored support to help them develop academically, socially and emotionally. Small class sizes and high staff-to-pupil ratios enable staff to deliver personalised support throughout the school day. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other specialist staff to support pupils with varying levels of need. Some pupils require assistance with communication and social interaction, whilst others may need support managing sensory needs, emotional regulation or engagement with learning. You will play a key role in helping pupils access a personalised curriculum, encouraging independence and supporting them to achieve their individual EHCP outcomes.
