This role involves providing 1:1 support to help pupils develop key social, emotional, and behavioural skills while ensuring their inclusion in classroom activities. You will play a crucial role in helping the pupil overcome behavioural challenges such as reluctance to participate, swearing, shouting, absconding from class, and occasional hitting.Key Responsibilities: Provide consistent, tailored support to the pupil, fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment.Work closely with the class teacher to implement strategies and interventions that reduce challenging behaviours and promote engagement.Support the pupil in developing self-regulation and communication skills to help them interact more positively with peers and teachers.Build a strong, trusting relationship with the pupil, encouraging their confidence and motivation to succeed.Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the pupil s needs are met and their progress is tracked effectively.Implement behaviour management techniques that promote positive reinforcement and inclusion, ensuring the pupil feels valued and supported.
