An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a specialist engineering business on a 12-month maternity contract. They are seeking a proactive and hands-on finance professional to support the business through a key period, working closely with the senior finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full set of accounts and complete month-end closing
• Prepare monthly management accounts and year-end statutory financial statements
• Produce financial performance analysis and business reports
• Project costing
• Oversee corporate tax computations and liaise with external tax advisors
• Support on ad hoc financial projects and process improvements

• Qualified accountant, ACCA preferred
• Three or more years of relevant experience
• Solid understanding of accounting standards and tax regulations
• Strong Excel skills; Microsoft Dynamics NAV experience is a plus
• Organised, detail-focused, and a strong communicator
