This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on surveyor who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out building surveys and inspections across residential propertiesDiagnose and specify remedial works relating to damp, mould, condensation and general disrepairPrepare clear schedules of works and technical reportsManage and monitor contractors on site to ensure works are delivered to standard, on time and within budgetRespond to damp and mould complaints, including complex and high-risk casesEnsure compliance with relevant legislation, housing standards and HHSRSLiaise with tenants, contractors and internal stakeholders professionally and empatheticallySupport reactive repairs and planned maintenance where requiredEssential RequirementsProven experience working as a Building Surveyor within social housing, local authority or residential settingsStrong technical knowledge of damp, mould and building pathologyExperience specifying and overseeing remedial repair worksAbility to manage a high caseload and prioritise effectivelyExcellent communication and report-writing skillsFull UK driving licence and ..... full job details .....
