About the Role

Our client, a long-established and respected specialist construction contractor in London, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support the Commercial Lead across their Contracts Division, with a focus on social housing refurbishment programmes.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of key projects, drive commercial performance, and work with a professional and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

• Monthly preparation and updates of Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs)
• Weekly measurement and valuation validation
• Procurement and management of subcontractors and supply chain partners
• Maintain and update the commercial risk register
• Participate in cost reduction and value engineering strategies
• Support contract reviews and cost reporting initiatives

Requirements

• Professional qualification or demonstrable experience in quantity surveying
• Proven track record in managing project finances and subcontractor accounts
• Experience in public sector frameworks, especially social housing, preferred
• Knowledge of NEC and JCT forms of contract
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
