Purpose of Job The Financial Reporting Manager acts as the principal link between ODI Global''s project-finance and corporate-finance functions. The role ensures that project budgets, Programme Analysis Budgets (PABs), donor income, billing, restricted and unrestricted funds, cash-flow information and project expenditure are accurately reflected in, and reconciled to, the general ledger. The postholder critically reviews financial and project information, investigates inconsistencies between project, budget and accounting data, and ensures corrective action is completed. They provide reliable analysis to support the Head of Finance, Chief Finance Officer, Senior Leadership and Board. Main Duties and Responsibilities The Financial Reporting Manager will work closely with the Head of Finance, Chief Finance Officer, finance colleagues, Portfolio Finance Managers, and project teams to deliver accurate, timely and decision-useful reporting across ODI Global. 1. Financial Reporting Leadership Support the timely preparation and critically review the monthly management accounts, ensuring that project, grant and fund information is complete, accurate and properly reflected in the general ledger. Lead the consolidation process for group entities and ensure the reporting of the Entities financials are accurate.
