This is an excellent opportunity to join the HS2 programme in a client–side capacity, providing assurance and acting as the eyes and ears on the ground. You ll be supporting the Senior HandS Manager, working closely with the contractor to ensure robust health and safety practices are upheld across a complex and evolving project.This role is about applying your practical experience to improve on–site safety and management arrangements in real time. You will be on–site 3 days a week, travelling between Euston and West Ruislip as required (expenses covered beyond your base).Essential Qualifications
NEBOSH Construction CertificateExperience conducting or supporting incident investigations on major programmes or within a civils contractor environmentStrong understanding of contractor
HandS management
systems and on–the–ground safety practiceAbility to operate as a trusted advisor and challenge constructivelyBackground on high–profile civil engineering programmes (e.g. Crossrail, Tideway, Hinkley, Silvertown) desirableExposure to client–side
assurance
or working for principal contractors/Tier 1/Tier 2 contractorsExperience in fit–out, tunnelling or structural civils preferredInterview process will involve 1 stage on Teams.
