Head of Finance (3 month FTC) Bradford - £54,000 Hybrid (2/3 days in the office) Our client is a charity based in Bradford and we are looking for a Head of Finance to cover the role whilst a permanent resource is recruited. The role will : Drive the annual statutory reporting process Lead the external audit process Prepare action plans and report audit findings to the Finance, Audit and Risk Committee. Develop and deliver comprehensive and insightful regular balance sheet reporting and forecasting (capital expenditure, cashflow, liabilities and reserves) to support the financial sustainability of the charity Identify and implement process and system improvements. Take the leading role in the finance ledger system replacement procurement, design and implementation Provide support to ensure key operational and financial targets are delivered Develop, recommend and implement cash and capital management systems and reporting Provide assessments of capital expenditure business cases and strategic opportunities to support and influence decision making Support the month end and annual accounting Submit the VAT return and provide any tax advice Ideally you will be a fully qualified accountant with strong people management skills with the ability to build strong business relationships internally and externally. ..... full job details .....
