Project Accountant - PQ Salary: 30-40,000 (Plus study support) Permanent - Office About the Role We are currently supporting a growing organisation with the appointment of a Project Accountant to provide financial support across a portfolio of projects. This is a hands-on role that will suit an up and coming finance professional who enjoys working closely with operational and project teams, ensuring project costs and revenues are accurately recorded, financial reporting is maintained, and projects are appropriately controlled from start to finish. You will work closely with Project Managers and operational stakeholders, providing financial insight, resolving queries and helping ensure projects remain financially accurate and well managed. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to day financial support to Project Managers, responding to queries and resolving project-related financial issues. Support the financial reporting and monitoring of newly launched projects. Prepare regular labour utilisation reports and analyse labour costs and resource usage. Incorporate relevant labour and project cost information into management reporting. Prepare and post monthly inventory-related journals across UK and international operations. Lead regular financial review meetings with Project Managers and operational stakeholders. Investigate and resolve project billing and invoicing queries.
