The Role

As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing HGVs to a high standard.

Your duties will include:

• Carrying out HGV servicing, maintenance and repairs
• Diagnosing and rectifying vehicle faults using modern diagnostic equipment
• Performing safety inspections and MOT preparation
• Carrying out routine preventative maintenance
• Ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and safely
• Working to required manufacturer and company standards
• Completing relevant maintenance records and documentation
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop

About You

We''re looking for a qualified HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Heavy Vehicle Technician with:

• City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
• Previous HGV or heavy commercial vehicle experience
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Good mechanical and electrical knowledge
• A proactive and professional approach
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A valid UK driving licence

HGV licence is desirable but not essential.
